The Dougherty County School System is the school district in Dougherty County, Georgia, USA, (county seat Albany, Georgia). A total of 16,844 students attend 15 elementary schools, 5 middle schools, 4 high schools, and 1 alternative school.

The system is governed by a 7-member school board and an administrative staff. The school board consists of 6 members elected from geographical school districts and one at-large member. The administrative staff consists of Interim Superintendent Dr. David Moseley.
