Elvira Devinamira Wirayanti (born June 28, 1993 in Surabaya, East Java) is an Indonesian beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2014[1] and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant where she placed in the Top 15 and won best National Costume award.

Early life

Elvira is studying Law at Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia.

She has reached number of achievements and has been part of Indonesian delegation at an exchange trip program to Seoul, South Korea in 2011 and moreover was part of Indonesian delegation at Harvard National Model United Nations Conference 2012 in Boston, United States. [2]

Cak Ning Surabaya

Elvira was a Tourism Ambassador of her hometown Surabaya, as she placed as the 1st Runner-up at Cak Ning Surabaya, a Surabayan tourism pageant.[3]

Puteri Jawa Timur 2013

Elvira competed in Puteri Jawa Timur 2013 on December, 1 and eventually won the title. Through winning, Elvira would compete at Puteri Indonesia 2014 representing Jawa Timur.

Puteri Indonesia 2014

Elvira was crowned as Puteri Indonesia 2014 representing Jawa Timur at the pageant. At the same pageant, Elfin Rappa and Estelita Liana were crowned as Puteri Indonesia Lingukungan 2014 and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2014.

Miss Universe 2014

Elvira represented Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2014 in Doral, United States where she continued Indonesia's stake in the Miss Universe pageant by placing in the semifinals for a consecutive second time finishing as a Top 15 semifinalist and won Best National Costume. Her costume themed "The Chronicle of Borobudur" inspired by Buddhist temple, Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Indonesia.
