Eurostadium is a proposed stadium in Grimbergen, Belgium, just north of Brussels. It will have a capacity of 50,000 (60,000 potentially).[1] In 2015, the building deadline was set for 2019.[2] It will host UEFA Euro 2020 matches[3] and would become the home ground of the Belgian national football team and RSC Anderlecht.[2][4] In contrast to the current stadium at the Heysel plain, the King Baudouin Stadium, it will no longer contain an athletic track.[5]

In March 2015 the City of Brussels council chose the Ghelamco/BAM consortium as best candidate to finance, build and exploit the stadium.[6] During the year that followed however, the project was plagued by political delays;[7][8] as of May 2016, no starting date has been set yet for the construction.
