Evergrande Football School is a football school located in Qingyuan, Guangdong, China. It is invested by the Evergrande Group (Chinese: 恒大集团; pinyin: Hénɡdà Jítuán), and is a full-time boarding primary and secondary football school in South China. The Spanish Real Madrid Foundation and SOXNA coaches (15) are responsible for the professional football training in the school.

Introduction

In terms of size, it is the world's largest football school, in which the students will be recruited in three phases. In the first phase, 1,150 students were selected and there were 435 faculty members and coaches for elementary, junior high school and high school.

To perform the training, in the first season there were more than 100 Chinese coaches and 15 Spanish coaches hired by the company SOXNA, which has been the responsible for their selection and recruitment. All these coaches have been approved by Real Madrid Foundation and among them, there are several ex-football players from the Spanish League.

In the second season (2013-2014) the number of students have reached 2350 and 7 new Spanish coaches have been recruited, to increase the total number to 22.

Facilities

The facilities of the Evergrande Football School is designed with 3,900m² primary teaching building, 4,400m² secondary teaching building, 8.700m² laboratory building, 1,500m² library, 3,000m² stadium, 1,800m² auditorium. The facilities related to football trainings are of the world's top standard, with 6,000m² world's largest football training field. Moreover, the school is equipped with 21,000m² domitory for students, 16,000m² domitory for teachers and coaches, 5,000m² for canteen and supermarkets, as well as 3,000m² Entertainment Centre. In the first phase 22 football fields have been built and during the following year (2013) another 20 fields have been completed.
