Fan Jian, courtesy name Changyuan (長元), was an official of the state of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period.

Life

Fan served as a Palace Attendant and Imperial Secretary. He was put in charge of state affairs together with Zhuge Zhan and Dong Jue. He was not on good terms with the eunuch Huang Hao. After the fall of Shu Han, Fan was sent to Luoyang. He was appointed as Adviser of the Army and Cavalry Attendant, and later sent to Shu Han to console the people.
