Fayerweather & Ladew was one of the oldest and largest leather manufacturers in the world.[1] It was located in Glen Cove, Long Island.[2][3]

History

The company was started by Edward R. Ladew, Harvey Smith Ladew and Daniel B. Fayerweather.[2][4] Joseph Harvey Ladew, Sr., became a partner in the company on February 1, 1889.[5]
