Femme Productions
Femme Productions is a production company which produces pornographic films aimed at an audience of women and couples. The company is headed by former adult actress Candida Royalle, who directs and produces most of the films, but does not appear in front of the camera. The films are regularly praised by counselors and therapists for depicting healthy and realistic sexual activity.[1] The company's films are distributed by Adam & Eve.
Awards
The erotic comedy, Under the Covers received a Feminist Porn award for the 'Hottest Group Sex Scene' from Toronto erotic boutique, 'Good For Her'.[2] The same film won the AdultDVDReviews.com Critic’s Choice Award. Afrodite Superstar was nominated for seven AVN awards including best feature, best screenplay and best director, and won the award for Best Music. [3] It was also nominated in the Best Comedy or Parody category at the 2007 Nightmoves Adult Entertainment Awards.[4]
