Ferguson Conservation Park is a protected area located about Lua error in Module:Convert at line 272: attempt to index local 'cat' (a nil value). east of the Adelaide city centre. The conservation park was proclaimed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 in 1977 in order to protect a parcel of undeveloped land which contained remnant native vegetation and with limited protected status as a public recreation reserve. The land which was originally donated to the Government of South Australia in 1949 by its previous owner, Alice Effie Ferguson, was part of a larger holding of which the remainder is now occupied by St Peter's Collegiate Girls' School. The conservation park is classified as an IUCN Category III protected area.[2][3][4]
