Summary
The Series 70 replaced the 355E and had a 139in wheelbase and a 346 cu in V8. It was mid spec for 1936, the shorter wheelbase Series 60 was entry level and the V12 Series 80 and V16 Series 90 were top of the range. The Series 70 got built-in trunks on touring styles, town cars and 4-door convertibles. Coupes and 2-door convertibles had rumbleseats plus a separate door for the spare tire at the extreme rear of the deck. The 1936 model got a convex grille with horizontal bars whereas the similar 1937 model got a egg crate grille. Engine; 346 cu in V8
