Summary

Some 6 years before closure, Dover Western Docks station was the main transfer point for rail-sea services from the UK to France and Belgium. Served both by non-stop boat trains as well as regular services. On 21 August 1988, 4VEP sets can be seen including 3191 on a stopping service to London Victoria. Note the Network SouthEast signage.
