Summary

Second World War badge of the 38th (Welsh) Infantry Division. The badge resembles the flag of Saint David, a yellow cross on a black shield. Two versions of the badge exist: woven silk and printed. The latter were printed onto a yellow background (as depicted here), while the silk version were largely on khaki backgrounds. Image traced from IWM jpg scaled to 500%.
