<a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Alpine_Travel_(bus_company)" title="Category:Alpine Travel (bus company)">Alpine Travel</a> bus DVG517 (reg. YMB 517W), a 1981 Bristol VRT/SL3 double-decker with ECW bodywork, pictured somewhere in <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wales" class="mw-redirect" title="Wales">Wales</a>. It's in yellow school bus (Welsh:Bws Ysgol) livery.

It was new to <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crosville_Motor_Services" class="extiw" title="w:Crosville Motor Services">Crosville Motor Services</a> as their DVG517, staying with the company as it morphed into <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arriva_Cymru" class="extiw" title="w:Arriva Cymru">Arriva Cymru</a>. In June 2000 it passed to Alpine, and by July 2005 it was painted into schoolbus yellow.

The <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Llandudno" class="extiw" title="w:Llandudno">Llandudno</a> based company has since upgraded its school routes in Conwy & Denbighshire from these sort of ex-public transport 74 seat double-deckers, to 70 seat dedicated school coaches. This bus was withdrawn in March 2009, and by October 2010 was with a dealer, awaiting scrapping.
