Summary
by mistake by me once thought to be Peter John Fane de Salis, but it is his younger half-brother Charles L. M. F. De Salis.

- Educated at Eton; an ensign and lieutenant and captain in the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scots_Fusilier_Guards" class="extiw" title="en:Scots Fusilier Guards">Scots Fusilier Guards</a> from April 21 1837, and Page of Honour (Queen's Stables) to <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adelaide_of_Saxe-Meiningen" class="extiw" title="en:Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen">Queen Adelaide</a>.
- Died following a riding accident on Constitution Hill. Note: check newspaper reports of his accident and death.
