Summary
"The Cheesegrater" (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/122_Leadenhall_Street" class="extiw" title="en:122 Leadenhall Street">122 Leadenhall Street</a>) and "The Gherkin" (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/30_St_Mary_Axe" class="extiw" title="en:30 St Mary Axe">30 St Mary Axe</a>). Taken from <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monument_to_the_Great_Fire_of_London" class="extiw" title="en:Monument to the Great Fire of London">The Monument</a>. The rear of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd%27s_building" class="extiw" title="en:Lloyd's building">Lloyd's building</a> makes up the lower foreground.
Photographer's notes: Each of the 21 frames that make up this image were taken with a Sony A33 camera and Sony 55-300 lens at 130mm. The exposure was f/6.3, 1/400s, ISO 100. The viewing platform on the Monument is covered in a wire cage with holes too small to stick a DSLR lens through. This image was only possible by hand-holding a telephoto lens aimed through the holes, which isn't ideal. The resulting stitched image was downsized to achieve an acceptable degree of sharpness.
