It includes the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Cross" class="extiw" title="en:Victoria Cross">en:Victoria Cross</a>, the highest award for valour in the British honours system. Left to Right: Victoria Cross, Distinguished Service Order and two bars, Distinguished Flying Cross, 1939-45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star with Atlantic clasp, Burma Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-45 with Mentioned in Dispatches insignia, Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Medal, Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal. Absent in the photo is the insignia of the Order of Merit which is worn suspended from the neck.
