This tiny municipality, consisting only of condo-style houses, was born from a dispute over proposed sewage treatment fees. It seceded from the surrounding <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robinson_Township,_Allegheny_County,_Pennsylvania" class="extiw" title="w:Robinson Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania">Robinson Township</a>. The plaque reads, in part "No man is wise enough to govern another, without that man’s consent.” Abraham Lincoln.
