Summary

Southern side of Flannery Island, which sits at the confluence of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio_River" class="extiw" title="w:Ohio River">Ohio</a> and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Miami_River" class="extiw" title="w:Great Miami River">Great Miami</a> Rivers in the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States" class="extiw" title="w:United States">United States</a>. The western half of the island is included in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawrenceburg_Township,_Dearborn_County,_Indiana" class="extiw" title="w:Lawrenceburg Township, Dearborn County, Indiana">Lawrenceburg Township</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dearborn_County,_Indiana" class="extiw" title="w:Dearborn County, Indiana">Dearborn County</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana" class="extiw" title="w:Indiana">Indiana</a>, while the eastern half is part of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Township,_Hamilton_County,_Ohio" class="extiw" title="w:Miami Township, Hamilton County, Ohio">Miami Township</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamilton_County,_Ohio" class="extiw" title="w:Hamilton County, Ohio">Hamilton County</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio" class="extiw" title="w:Ohio">Ohio</a>. Owned by a nature conservancy, the island is uninhabited; the primary human presence on the island is a railroad bridge over the island's northern tip.
