A U.S. Air Force Palletized "Meals Ready to Eat" (MREs) sit in front of a Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker (s/n 57-1461) from the 173rd Air Refueling Squadron, 155th Air Refueling Wing, Nebraska Air National Guard, waiting to be loaded onto a flatbed trailer truck at a visibly damaged and flooded Naval Air Station New Orleans, Louisiana (USA) on 1 September 2005. The 155th ARW flew a two-day relief mission operation from Lincoln, Nebraska, to New Orleans to help deliver 65,000 MREs to assist those devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
