Amédée E. Forget in his office, Government House, 1898. Amédée Emmanuel Marie Forget (November 12, 1847 – June 8, 1923) was a Canadian lawyer, civil servant, and politician. He was the last Lieutenant Governor of the Northwest Territories and the first Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Saskatchewan. At the time of this photo, the capital of the Northwest Territories was in Regina, in the future province of Saskatchewan.
