The inside of a Maasai manyatta, the living quarters of Maasai murran (warrior) (In contrast to the Maasai enkang (best be translatd as village, the living communities of murrani (warriors) are not surrounded by a fence because the warriors do neither have wives nor are they traditionally involved in herding.
