It's the southern side of the square base, sculpted in stone in a Neo-gothic style by <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arturo_M%C3%A9lida" class="extiw" title="en:Arturo Mélida">Arturo Mélida</a> (1849–1902). Relief represents a <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Madonna_and_Child" title="Category:Madonna and Child">Madonna and Child</a> (<a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Our_Lady_of_the_Pillar" title="Category:Our Lady of the Pillar">Our Lady of the Pillar</a>) between two angels; below, the name of the three ships: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinta" class="extiw" title="en:Pinta">Pinta</a> (left), <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Mar%C3%ADa_(ship)" class="extiw" title="en:Santa María (ship)">Santa María</a> (centre) and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ni%C3%B1a" class="extiw" title="en:Niña">Niña</a> (right); and the names of those who took part in the enterprise. At the four corners of the base there are heralds below canopies.
