Cities that hosted <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Basketball_Association" class="extiw" title="en:American Basketball Association">ABA</a> and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Basketball_Association" class="extiw" title="en:National Basketball Association">NBA</a> teams at the time of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Basketball_Association%E2%80%93National_Basketball_Association_merger" class="extiw" title="en:American Basketball Association–National Basketball Association merger">merger</a> in 1976. There were seven ABA teams that finished the final <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1975%E2%80%9376_ABA_season" class="extiw" title="en:1975–76 ABA season">ABA season</a>.
