Summary
The Andrew Norwood House at 241 West 14th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues in Manhattan, New York City was built in 1845-47 as one of three row houses in transitional Greek Revival/Italianate style, at a time when 14th Street was becoming a fashionable address. This building is the only survivor of the three and was built as the home of Andrew Norwood, the developer responsible for the three houses.
