Poland First to Fight, the 1939 British poster by Marek Żuławski (1908–1985), Polish expressionist painter and graphic artist from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, who settled permanently in London, England in 1936, and worked for BBC European Service in 1939. See: Biography. Source: Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika. The poster illustrates the prevailing attitudes in Great Britain after the Nazi German invasion of Poland.
