Summary

Ralph Allen Town House, Bath. This “secret” house is tucked away in York Street, close to the Roman Baths, between a small shop and the Society of Friends meeting house. It is the Town House of Ralph Allen who was partly instrumental in the building of Bath. Designed by John Wood, it apparently once had a magnificent view of the river and the hills beyond. Hard to believe nowadays.
