St Andrew's church. St Andrew's church dates mainly from the 13th century. Its round tower is Saxo-Norman but the octagonal top was added at some time later, presumably during the 15th century. The main east window is C13, the east window of the north aisle contains some interesting medieval glass > <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:St_Andrew%27s_church_-_medieval_glass_-_geograph.org.uk_-_1357800.jpg" title="File:St Andrew's church - medieval glass - geograph.org.uk - 1357800.jpg">1357800</a> that is flanked by two later roundels depicting St Stephen > <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:St_Andrew%27s_church_-_Continental_glass_-_geograph.org.uk_-_1357815.jpg" title="File:St Andrew's church - Continental glass - geograph.org.uk - 1357815.jpg">1357815</a> and St Paul > <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:St_Andrew%27s_church_-_Continental_glass_-_geograph.org.uk_-_1357826.jpg" title="File:St Andrew's church - Continental glass - geograph.org.uk - 1357826.jpg">1357826</a> - originating from King's College, Cambridge. The chancel houses a number of monuments to the Stone family > <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:St_Andrew%27s_church_-_monuments_to_members_of_the_Stone_family_-_geograph.org.uk_-_1357750.jpg" title="File:St Andrew's church - monuments to members of the Stone family - geograph.org.uk - 1357750.jpg">1357750</a> - lords of Bigod's Manor from the 16th to the 19th century. This church is open every day as are all churches in the care of the Hempnall Group.
