A U.S. highway shield as used in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida" class="extiw" title="w:Florida">Florida</a> prior to 1993. Colors used conform to the FHWA-recommended colors given at <a rel="nofollow" class="external free" href="http://www.triskele.com/roadgeek-fonts/font-faq">http://www.triskele.com/roadgeek-fonts/font-faq</a>. Note that Florida's colorized U.S. highway shields are generally sqaure regardless of the number of digits in the route number.
