Finn Ivar Tveter (born November 19, 1947 in Oslo) is a Norwegian jurist and former Olympic rower.

He received a silver medal in coxless fours at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, together with Ole Nafstad, Rolf Andreassen, and Arne Bergodd.[1] He also competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics,[2] and won a bronze medal at the 1970 World Championships.[3]

By profession, Tveter is a jurist. He has worked in the Norwegian Consumer Council, as a lawyer, and chaired the Bankklagenemnda from 1988 to 1997. Since 1997 he is the director of the Norwegian Association of Real Estate Agents.[2]

Tveter grew up at Skøyen and Bøler, but now lives as Haslum. He is married and has three daughters.[2]
