Many of her books were published by Blackie and Sons. She illustrated books by notable Pre-Raphaelite circle poets Christina Rossetti, William Morris and Sir Alfred Tennyson. She has been previously known by name Emma Florence Harrison, although there is some dispute that this was correct. The works previously attributed to Emma may actually be by Florence Susan Harrison who was Australian.[1]
