Frank Jonathan "Frankie" Galasso is an American musician and actor. He is best known as member of the boy band Dream Street.

Early Life

Frankie was born on January 24, 1985 in The Bronx, New York. He is the only child born to Lisa and Frank Galasso Sr. [1] He is of Italian descent. [2] He graduated from Salesian High School (New Rochelle) in 2003 and Five Towns College in 2007. [3]

Career

Frankie's career began in 1995 when he starred as Mickey Canetti in Hudson Street (TV series). In 1997, he played the role of Andrew Kempster in the movie Jungle 2 Jungle. Frankie was the singing voice of Christopher Robin in Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin (1997), A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving (1998), and Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You (1999). In 2003, Frankie portrayed Tommy in the movie A Tale of Two Pizzas. [4]

In 1999, at the age of 14, Frankie became a member of the boy band Dream Street, however the group disbanded in 2002 over a legal dispute between the parents of the five boy members and the group's managers. Following the breakup of Dream Street, Frankie went on to finish high school and then attended Five Towns College.

In 2008 Frankie began recording new songs, releasing his single "Give Me a Reason" on March 19, 2009. [5]

In 2012, Galasso was an ensemble cast member of the First National Touring of Jersey Boys. [6]

In January 2014, Frankie and Alissa Salvatore recorded the cover of "Say Something" - A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera. [7] [8]
