Front Royal–Warren County Airport (IATA: FRR[2]ICAO: KFRRFAA LID: FRR) is a county owned, public use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) west of the central business district of Front Royal, a town in Warren County, Virginia, United States.[1] It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.[3]

Facilities and aircraft

Front Royal–Warren County Airport covers an area of 90 acres (36 ha) at an elevation of 709 feet (216 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 10/28 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,007 by 75 feet (917 x 23 m).[1]

For the 12-month period ending July 31, 2010, the airport had 15,549 aircraft operations, an average of 42 per day: 97% general aviation, 2% military, and 2% air taxi.
