The chorus of "Games People Play" was sampled for Soul Du Jour's song "Here We Go Again" in 2001, as well as on Yung Berg & Twista's "Where Do We Go" in 2007.

The song was covered in Spanish by the Asturian group Cuélebre on their album Ave Fénix under the title "Juegos de la gente".
