Georg Adolf Otto Wüst (June 15, 1890 - November 8, 1977) was a German oceanographer known for his work on the Atlantic Ocean.

Wüst got his doctorate in 1919 at the University of Berlin. In 1925 he joined the German Atlantic expedition on the survey vessel Meteor. After his teacher Alfred Merz died in Buenos Aires, Wüst succeeded Merz as the expedition's chief oceanographer. Wüst was a member of the NSDAP.

Wüst was involved in reestablishing the maritime research département of the University of Kiel after the Second World War. He led the department, today the Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences, from 1946 until 1959.
