George E. R. "Gus" Kinnear II (January 12, 1928 – August 9, 2015) was a four star admiral in the United States Navy who served as U.S. Military Representative, NATO Military Committee from 1981 to 1982. He was born in Mounds, Oklahoma.[1] He attended George Washington University and Stanford University. Kinnear died in 2015 at the age of 87.[2]
