Get Ready is the second studio album by American blues rock band Rare Earth. It was released on September 30, 1969 by Motown Records. The album version of "Get Ready" was often played in full at college gatherings.[citation needed] It was a precursor to the 12-inch dance singles.[citation needed] The edited version would eventually become a pop hit. It is of interest to music historians[who?] as the source of the riff to the Rolling Stones' track "Bitch" which appeared on their 1971 album Sticky Fingers.[citation needed]
