The Ghana Super Cup is a football competition involving a match played between the champion of the Ghana Premier League and the winner of the Ghanaian FA Cup in Ghana. The first GSC competition took place in the 1996–1997 season, with a thirteen-year hiatus between the seasons 1998–2010 with Asante Kotoko being the most successful club in the competition history, having won the cup on two occasions with the first being in 2012 and the recent in the 2013 GSC competition after defeating Medeama (3–0) in the finals.[1]

The current cup holders are Asante Kotoko.
