Description
The magazine was founded in 2004 by David Storobin, who later became embarrassed by some of the articles posted on the site.[2] In 2005, Storobin was credited as editor-in-chief of the Global Politician in Citizens Magazine, to which he contributed an article on "The Nazi roots of Palestinian nationalism".[3][4]
The current Editor-in-Chief of the Global Politician is Sam Vaknin. The associate editors are Ryan Mauro, Ross Kaminsky, Bhuwan Thapaliya and Ghazal Omid.[5] The magazine's stated goal is to go beyond traditional news found in media to publish about events missed by mainstream media. It publishes 5-7 op-ed pieces daily, and several investigative reports and interviews per month.[citation needed]
