Gorakhpur Airport (IATA: GOP, ICAO: VEGK) is an airport located in Gorakhpur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Gorakhpur Airport is operated with surveillance of Indian Air Force station base situated in Gorakhpur. Gorakhpur Airport is Civil Air terminal attached to Air Force Station Range, which is primarily a military & Air Force facility. Gorakhpur Airport has a limited number of commercial flights, currently connected only to Delhi Airport. Distance to city from airport is 8 km, Gorakhpur Airport has a single building with a common arrival and departure hall.[1] It is having Parking area with a capacity for 20 cars, but is not opened for public use.
