Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College (or GBPEC) is an autonomous institution for higher technical education run by the state government of Uttarakhand, India. It was created in 1989 to honour the Indian freedom fighter Padma Shri[1] Govind Ballabh Pant.

History

Gobind Ballabh Pant Engineering College, Pauri Garhwal [2] was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 1989. It started its first academic session in 1991. The college is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (Uttarakhand).[3]
