Guido Hernán Pizarro Demestri (February 26, 1990) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays for Liga MX club Tigres UANL.

A midfielder, Pizarro is known for breaking down opposition plays due his positional sense, pressure, defensive attributes, tactical intelligence and for his ability to give clarity to the attack from the center of the pitch. He is a naturalized citizen of Mexico.[1]

Career

Pizarro made his professional debut in his native Argentina with Club Lanús in 2009. In July 2013, he was transferred to Mexico side Tigres UANL. With Tigres, he lost the finals of the Mexico Apertura 2014 season and of the 2015 Copa Libertadores. A key player in Tigres, his team won the Mexico Apertura 2015 season championship.

On 30 May 2016, Pizarro was called by coach Gerardo Martino to play the 2016 Copa América with Argentina.[2]
