Hồ Thành Việt (John Hồ) (July 20, 1955 in Nha Trang – August 28, 2003 in Fountain Valley, California) was founder of VNI Software Co., California, USA in 1987 and was the first to develop software that eases use of Vietnamese language on computers. Among his products were the VNI Encoding and VNI Input Method.
