Henbury is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England.[2] According to the 2001 census, the entire civil parish had a population of 594.[1]

The village became a civil parish in 1845. Henbury has an Anglican church, the Church of St  Thomas, two pubs, and a grocery.[3] There is also a millennium green, which featured in a BBC programme in New Year's Eve (1999/2000) where many villagers got to experience this.

The village is the wealthiest in the Macclesfield area, besides Prestbury which is located approximately five minutes away[citation needed].

The village is in easy reach of other local towns and villages, such as Alderley Edge which is just ten minutes away, Wilmslow fifteen minutes away and Congleton twenty minutes away.

The village hall hosts a number of functions throughout the year with an active social committee.
