Biography

Henry Cooper Bradshaw was nicknamed "Coop" by his mother, Jenna, a former jewel thief who raised him in South America. When she returned to Springfield with him, she finally admitted to Buzz Cooper that he was Coop's father. Sadly, soon after the couple's reconciliation, Jenna died in a car accident. His traumas continued when he was abducted by Holly Reade. Buzz sent him to England to live with his mother's family.Jenna's great Aunts Charlotte and Abigail Bradshaw.Charlotte died before Coop returned to Springfield as a teenager following news of Buzz's heart attack and was thrown into the family quarrels with Phillip Spaulding over Company, the restaurant owned by the Coopers. This would lead to a conflict-ridden relationship with Phillip's daughter, Lizzie. At first, he hated her, but forced to serve as her chauffeur, they gradually started to sympathize with one another. While family squabbled escalated, Lizzie and Coop grew closer, but their relationship broke down when she tried to trap him into an engagement by any means possible, including passing off Jonathan Randall's child as his own.

Horrified by Lizzie's manipulative behaviour, he soon developed a relationship with Ava Peralta and became more serious about pursuing his dream of becoming a writer. The relationship was complicated by Ava's antagonism with Olivia Spencer, the love interest of his father Buzz and brother, Frank. Both Buzz and Frank have since broken up with Olivia, largely due to Coop's paranoid and overprotective nature.

Coop became a teacher at the juvenile center where Ashlee Wolfe had a crush on him. Once she was released, she and Coop began spending more time together, which resulted in a relationship developing between them. When Coop's niece Marina Cooper was missing, Coop began to lose hope and once again turned to Ava when Ashlee wasn't there, but Coop and Ashlee eventually reconciled. Coop has now seen his first novel published and is preparing to embark on a cross-country book tour, with Blake Marler as his agent.
