Henry Hunloke

Henry Philip Hunloke TD (27 December 1906 – 13 January 1978) was a British Conservative politician.

Hunloke was born in Marylebone, the son of Philip Hunloke. On his mother's side, he was descended from William IV.

He married Lady Anne Cavendish, daughter of Victor Cavendish, 9th Duke of Devonshire, on 28 November 1929. They had three children before their divorce in 1945:[1]

Hunloke was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for West Derbyshire in 1938, resigning in 1944. He married again, to Virginia Archer Clive, on 19 May 1945. They had two children before their divorce in 1972:[1]

  • Clare Hunloke (10 January 1947 – 23 November 1964)
  • Sarah Hunloke (born 17 April 1949)

He later made a third marriage, to Ruth Holdsworth,[1] and died in Marlborough, Wiltshire aged 71.
