Heteronuclear molecule

Heteronuclear molecules, or heteronuclear species, are molecules composed of more than one type of element, for example, HCl. In heteronuclear molecules e.g. HCl where bonded atoms are of different elements, the molecules become polar due to electronegativity difference.
