Angola has fifteen public holidays over the year. These are:

• January 1 – New Year's Day
• January 4 – Colonial Repression Martyrs' Day
• January 25 – Luanda's Day
• February 4 – Day of the Armed Struggle, in memory of the Baixa de Cassanje revolt
• March 8 – International Women's Day
• April 4 – Day of Peace and Reconciliation, end of the Angolan Civil War
• May 1 – Labour Day
• May 25 – Africa's Day
• June 1 – International Children's Day
• September 17 – Agostinho Neto's Day and National Heroes Day
• November 2 – All Souls Day
• November 11 – Independence Day
• December 25 – Christmas
• December 31 – New Year's Eve
