Holy Child College of Davao (HCCD) formerly known as Holy Child Day Care and Learning Center, is a private school in Davao City. The school was established in August 28, 1981. The first settlement was in E. Jacinto, Roxas Boulevard and the second is in Brgy. Sto Nino, Tugbok District and the last is in 348 Buhangin-Cabantian-Indangan Road. Additionally, Holy Child IT Academy and Holy Child Kinderville.
History
The Holy Child College of Davao (formerly Holy Child Day Care and Learning Center) was founded in August 28, 1981 by Mrs. Victoria D. Leuterio in Davao City, during Marcos government. There was only two classrooms as a preparatory school and the school move to its present site along Jacinto Street. the school levels was given by the government in 1986 that time is the end of the Marcos regime
The school has two campuses named are Jacinto Campus and Green Meadows Campus. in 2002 the school offered High School and Sunday High School diploma was opened in 2003 and the established of Buhangin Campus and this time was the school become a college renamed Holy Child School of Davao and offers College Department and The College Department also offers two-year courses in Diploma in Information Technology and Office Skills Management with Desktop Publishing and other short courses.
In 2004 the College Department also offers the College of Nursing, College of Commerce and the College of Education. later in 2012 the school renamed again as Holy Child College of Davao and in 2013 the school newly add the courses namely Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, BS in Physical Therapy, BS in Occupational Therapy, and BS in Library and Information Science.
This year 2015 the school finally add School of Criminology, Also they provide Holy Child Boys and Girls Brigade.
Community
The Holy Child College of Davao is the one of the Christian schools in Davao City.
Expansion of the school
They plan the expansion again in the right side of the Green Meadows so they opened more classrooms including Grade 11 and 12.
