The Housing Corporation (Delegation) etc. Act 2006 (c 27) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was enacted because it was discovered that the Housing Corporation had been delegating its functions without lawful authority.[4] Its purpose was to retroactively legalise this.[5]

Section 1 - Power of Housing Corporation to delegate functions etc.

Section 1(1) inserted paragraph 6A of Schedule 6 to the Housing Associations Act 1985. It was repealed[6] for England and Wales[7] on 1 April 2009.[8]

(3) Anything which purports to have been done before the passing of this Act by the Housing Corporation or Housing for Wales is to be taken to have been validly done if done or evidenced by a document duly executed under its seal.

(4) If the fixing of the seal of the Housing Corporation or Housing for Wales has, at any time before the passing of this Act, been authenticated by the signature of any of its members or employees it is to be regarded as having been properly authenticated.[9]
