Hugh T. Barrie

Hugh Thom Barrie PC (Ire) (1860–18 April 1922) was a Scottish-born Irish politician. He was Irish Unionist Member of Parliament for North Londonderry from 1906 to 1918 and Ulster Unionist MP from 1919 until his death in 1922.

Barrie was born in Glasgow. He was Vice-President of the Irish Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction from 1919 to November 1921. He was appointed a member of the Privy Council of Ireland in the 1920 Birthday Honours, entitling him to the style "The Right Honourable". He was chairman of the Ulster Group in the Irish Convention, 1917–1918, and was also a member of the Senate of Northern Ireland.
