Huntingdon Town F.C. is an English football club based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The club are currently members of the Premier Division of the United Counties League and play at Jubilee Park.

History
The original Huntingdon Town was formed in the 1800s and won the Huntingdonshire Senior Cup eleven times before World War I. For most of the period between 1922 and the merger, they had played in the Peterborough & District League, before merging with Huntingdon Wanderers to form Huntingdon United in 1948.[1]
The modern club was established in 1980 as Montagu. They were later renamed Sun FC, before adopting their current name when moving from the West Anglian League to Division 2B of the Cambridgeshire League in 1996.[2] They were promoted to Division 1B in 1997–98, and in 1999–2000 won the division and the Hunts Junior Cup.
In 2003 they moved to Jubilee Park and moved up to Division One of the United Counties League.[3] Following a new £1 Million clubhouse funded by the Football Foundation and the appointment of a new Manager and Chairman at the 6 acre site there has been a dramatic rise in success at the club
2011 saw Ricky Marheineke cut his teeth in a managerial role where he guided the club from bottom of the First Division (UCL) to finish fourth in his first season Paul Hunt was also installed as the new Chairman in mid season and the scene was set - Marheineke in his first full season steered Huntingdon to its first ever UCL Division One title and HTFC were promoted to the Premier league at step 5 for the first time in the clubs history
The next year early in the season Marheinieke was tempted away to become the understudy at Histon however Hunt refused to panic and promoted Seb Hayes (assistant manager) to First team boss and Paul Swannell as Head Coach where they had a remarkable run and finished 2nd in the Premiership and won both the League Cup and the Hinchingbrooke Cups for the first time in the clubs history
A truly remarkable achievement and the story continues with Hunt pledging to Hayes that their ambition is to progress to the highest level that is sustainable - the story continues and next season Huntingdon are looking to improve on their achievement of reaching the last 64 in the FA VAse
